Unlike uploading through the web browser, where you add photos album by album, this application offers:
One click mirrors a whole folder tree — each subfolder becomes an album in the root of your gallery.
Parallel upload with 1–8 threads and live thumbnails of the photos currently being uploaded.
Automatic recovery from network outages — the upload waits and resumes by itself, no photo is lost or skipped.
Keeps both sides in sync — an album whose local subfolder became empty is removed from the gallery too (only when it is empty online as well).

Optional recursive scan — photos from nested subfolders are included in the parent album.
